Irradiation ginseng to keep fresh technology bring a new way tor ginseng processing and storing.Fresh ginseng are cleaned,pretreated with C 6H 8O 6,packed in 0.07-0.10mm nylon polythene plastic bag,vacuummed,fillde N 2.Sealed treated by 0.3-0.6?KGY doses.The medical composition of irradiated ginseng are not lose and recover easily.It may not decay and may not be bitten by insects.Compare with CK group,the irradiated group ginseng is quantity of saponin were not obviously changed.So do toxicity.The irradiation ginseng could be stored for 12 months in normal atmosphenic temperature.Its commodity rate could be 98% of more.
