Jitter performance requirements of optical transport network (OTN)

处于光层网络的 OTN,与电层的 PDH、SDH网络一样 ,为保证信号传送质量 ,对抖动性能有相应的要求 .文章主要介绍 OTN的网络节点接口和设备接口的抖动性能要求 ,包括最大允许抖动、抖动转移特性和最小输入抖动容限 .最后简单介绍

OTN which is located in optical layer of transport network should satisfy the relevant requirements of jitter performance in order to guarantee a proper quality of the transmitted signals, it is same as PDH and SDH network. In this paper the jitter and wander performance requirements of NNI and equipment interface of OTN, including maximum limits of jitter and wander, jitter transfer characteristics and minimum equipment tolerance to jitter and wander would be introduced briefly. At last, the Hypothetical Reference Model (HRM) used to obtain the jitter accumulation of OTN and the jitter accumulation algorithm has been described.
