Evolution of Intelligent Automatic Switching Optical Networks

电信服务的发展需要有全新的、更智能化的光网络支持，北电网络公司的OPTera系列产品具备新型光网络的主要性能，符合ITU－T的自动交换光网络标准——G．ASTN。首先介绍了自动交换光网络的结构、信令构件、路由选择；接着对有关的几种标准作了比较，ITU－T建议的主要优点在网络结构方面，而IETF标准的信令和路由协议具有相当大的优越性；最后介绍了北电网络的光服务网络。

The development of telecom services needs the support of brand－new and more intelligent optical networks． Nortel Networks＇ OPTera series products are provided with the key features of new optical networks and are compliant with ITU－T automatic switching optical network standard——G．ASTN． The architectures, signaling components and routing selection of automatic switching optical network are firstly introduced in this paper． After that, several ASTN protocol drafts are compared． Finally, Nortel Networks＇ optical service networks are introduced．
