Deng Xiaoping's Theory on Economy and Marxist Political Economy has both internal identity and external differences.Moreover,there is regularity in mutual infiltration and integration.It is a practical issue to perceive their relations correctly and to reform the methodology of teaching political economy in the higher learning institutions.The starting points include restructuring the curriculum,enriching the contents,improving the teaching method and identifying the teaching goals.
