摘要
本文从英语教学的角度对英语中间结构进行了探讨。在提出中间结构的定义之后指出,中间结构的特点是隐含施动者、存在情态词及表示状态,并且只有完成动词才能够构成中间结构。同时,本文还探讨了如何区分四类英语动词的问题,并就英语中间结构的教学问题提出了一些建议。
This paper is a study of the English middle construction with a view to English teaching. According to our analysis, the English middle construction has three characteristics: implying an agent, requiring a modal element, and being stative. After classifying English verbs into four groups, the author points out that English middle constructions are derived from only accomplishments. Then a suggestion is made on how to deal with the English middle construction in English teaching.
