摘要
随着国际间交流与合作的日益频繁,我国在世纪之交对外向型跨世纪人才进行早期双语教育巳极为迫切,能否为语言发展关键期内的儿童提供双语或多语的自然习得环境,培养和发展他们认识世界和改造世界的能力并使之成为高素质的21世纪人才变得至关重要,它是关系到将来中国国内各行业的关键技术和高层位置是由中国人还是由外国人来掌握的战略性问题.
This essay discusses the urgency of having our own international intellectuals for the 21st century and the feasibility of practicing preschool bilingual education, holding that a bilingual or multilingual environment for the natural acquisition of languages for preschool children is of crucial importance to the making of an excellent generation for China in the 21st century and the strategic arrangement for placing Chinese in the leading position of all national walks of life.
