This paper introduces the control system of No.2 and No.4 blast furnaces' stock rod in the Iron Plant of WISCO. The torque control with speed override operation mode of Mentor II is used in this system. The implementation has the properties of simple, compact structure and fewer auxiliary devices. It can be commissioned and maintained easily and works stably and reliably.
