Objective To observe the colony formation ability of recombinant human interleukin-8 (rhIL-8) on bone marrow cells (BMCs) of normal mice in vivo.Methods By means of cells culture and flow cytometry (FCM),the colony-stimulating activity of rhIL-8 on BMCs of normal mice was studied.Results The experimental studies in vivo demonstrated that rhIL-8 couldn't changed the counts of CFU-GM and distribution of cell cycle in BMCs.Conclusion rhIL-8 has no colony-stimulating activity to BMCs of normal mice.
