To study the influence on the fattening results of egg-type cockerels, two different levels of Methionine and Lysine were added to corn-soybean meal type rations(group I:the higher level of methionine and Lysine, groupⅡ:the lower level of methionine and Lysine). The results showed survival rate of the two groups were similar,i.e.the different levels of Methionine and Lysine had no influence on cockerel health.Though daily gain of the two groups had no significant difference during the whole period(P>0.05),daily gain of group I increased by 1%and 3.29%over group Ⅱin former and latter periods respectively,i.e.the higher level of Methionine and Lysine had positive effect on daily gain.It is the same with daily gain, feed conversion ratio of group I increased by 1.79%and 6.11%over groupⅡin former and latter periods respectively.Gross profit of group Ⅰincreased by 3.44%over group Ⅱ.According to economic benefit ,the higher level of Methionine and Lysine had positive effect on the fattening results of egg-type cockerels.
