Approximation formulae used for estimation of axial forces applied to the rotor of a supercharged turboexpander under various conditions of operation are described.The variation trend of the axial resultant applied to the rotor of the supercharged turboexpander with the variation of the operating condition is analyzed by means of estimated results of the axial resultant under some typical conditions of operation.
