The development of nano onion-like fullerenes in recent years is reviewed in this paper.Various methods and technologies of preparing nano onion-like fullerenes are described and compared in detail,advantages and disadvantages of which are discussed.The emphasis is placed on basic study,macroscopic preparation and potential ap- plications of nano onion-like fullerenes.
