介绍高性能计算机的关键技术和发展趋势。简要回顾高性能计算机的发展历史和当前形势 ,重点讨论大规模并行处理 (MPP)所面临的挑战 ,包括可扩展性、友善性和可用性。介绍神威高性能计算机及其应用情况 ,并对如何发展我国高性能计算机提出一些初浅的看法。
