This paper deals with the experiment and the methods of performing the extended design experiments on the apparatus for measuring tungsten's work function,including a study of the magnetic control condition of the axial magnetic field for the free electrons,a test of the specific charge of electrons,a research into the volt ampere characteristics of the two electrode tube,and an investigation of the Fermi Dirac distribution of free electrons.
