The trial-manufacturing processes of the ferrite head for high-speedduplication are introduced in detail. The factors influencing head chara-cteristics are also probed, including the effects of manufacturing processon properties of core materials, the combination between low-temperatureglass and core material, the influences of auxilary materials used inmanufacturing process on head characteristics. At the end of the paper,the characteristic parameters of the HHF head are given,all main indexesof which have reached the international level of the same kind.
