已经证明,流行性乙型脑炎(简称乙脑)病毒活疫苗2-8株和5-3株注射于3周鼠脑内后,病毒滴度很快持续下降,考虑与其嗜神经性降低有关。为了证明这一特征,我们设计了乙脑病毒脑组织吸附试验,比较了乙脑病毒强毒株和减毒株吸附脑细胞的能力。 一、乙脑病毒和动物 SA14株,强毒株,系1953年从西安蚊体分离,为我国减毒活疫苗母株。2-8株。
We established a new test for comparing the adsorbent ability to cerebral tissue of 3-week-old Swiss mice of JE virulent and attenuated virus strains. We found that after adsorbing at 37℃ for 1 hr in 5% cerebral tissues suspension, the viral titer of virulent SAt4 strain decreased 1.54 log10 on average. However, the viral titers of attenuated 2-8 and 5-3 strains only decreased 0.07 and 0.34 log10 respectively. The decreased value of viral titer after adsorption was named adsorbent index ( AI ) The difference of AI between the virulent and the attenuated strains was very significant (P<0.01). The result clearly indicates that the adsorbent ability to cerebral tissues of attenuated JE virus strain was much lower than that of virulent strain.
