Popularizing Oceanic Education, Enhancing the Awareness of Ocean──The Education Function of Library in the Knowledge Economy

随着国家对海洋重视程度的提高，民众的海洋意识有待增强，海洋教育亦必须普及，海洋高校图书馆应充分发挥其社会教育职能，承担起提高和普及民众海洋意识的重任。

With China government devoting more attention to the ocean, the public sawareness of ocean needs to be enhanced, and the oceanic education must be spread. Libraries of oceanic colleges must display to the full their function of social education, and take on heavy responsibility of improving and spreading the public's awareness of ocean.
