统一司法考试制度的确立要求高等法学教育进行改革 ,现代高等法学教育的目标是以法律职业为导向 ,培养司法制度所需求的应用型、研究型法律人才。传统高等法学的教学内容与课程体系、教学方法、教材以及教学环节都需要进行改革。只有当法学教育能够为法律职业者提供更为现实、实用、讲究实务技术的现代法律知识与技能时 ,才能产生出真正意义上的法律执业人 ,只有经过现代法学教育体制熏陶的法律人 ,才能在中国的司法和社会各业中发挥特殊的作用。

With the unitary system of judicial examination established, it is required to reform higher jurisprudence education. The objective of the modern higher jurisprudence education is to cultivate, with the law occupation as the orientation, legal talents of the applicable and research type to meet the needs of the judicial system. The contents, methods, materials and areas of teaching for the traditional higher jurisprudence must be reformed. Only when the jurisprudence education is able to provide the law professionals with modern legal knowledge and competence that are more realistic, applicable and concentrated on practices, can law practitioners in the real meaning be produced. Only fostered under the system of the modern jurisprudence education can the law workers play their specific role in the judicial and other fields of the society in China.
