Brief discussion of floating population and the rise of Taiping Rebellion

18 4 0 - 1 842年鸦片战争后 ,由于外国的侵略和清政府的腐朽统治 ,使原本人口问题十分严重的中国又产生了大批流民。流民是一种极不稳定的社会因素 ,在一定程度上 ,他们的大量存在造成了中国近代社会的动荡起伏。这些流民基于种种缘由纷纷涌入广西 ,进一步加剧了广西的社会危机 。

After the Opium War of 1840 1842,because of foreign invasion and the rotten rule of the Ching Dynasty,amounts of floating population were produced in China in which the problem of population had already been very grave.Floating population formed very unsteady elements of the society.To some extent,its enormousness gave rise to turbulence of Chinese modern society.These floating population poured into Guangxi for various cauese,aggravating social crisis in Guangxi then.And thus they becme one of important factors which brought out the Taiping Rebelliou.
