闹洞房习俗的文化内涵及功能分析

Cultural Connotation of Joking the Bridal Chamber and its Function

本文对闹洞房习俗的存在形态、产生原因、文化内涵及诸多功能进行了分析。文章指出 ,它是原始民众从非个体婚制向个体婚制过渡中产生的一种象征性仪式 ,以此来完成女子的“赎身”,确立丈夫对妻子绝对占有的社会性认同。随着人类社会的发展及民众生活需求的改变 ,其原始功能已逐渐退化 ,而由此衍生的各种习俗惯制却留存下来 ,并不断适应民众生活 ,又派生出众多新的功能 ,如祝福、娱乐、教育、帮助新人建立感情、乞福禳灾、为未婚男女交往了解创造机会、警诫等。

The article analyzes the existent form of joking the bridal chanber,the cause of its coming into being and the cultural connotation.It is pointed out was a symblic ceremony of transition from non-mnongamy to monogamy,with which to fulfill the woman's'ransom',to establish the recognition by society of the husband's absolute control over the wife.with the development of society and the changes in the masses' life demands,this custom's original function has faded,whereby various derived conventions have come down,adapted to the masses' life.On this bases have appeared functions,such as benediction,entertainment,education,helping new couple,build up true love ,wishing for happiness and averting misfortune,and providing for youngsters communication and even admonition.
