Though testing and inspection of the material and notch analysis of metallography and electronics,the summary is given that different heat treatment such as hardening and tempering process,normalizing plus hardening and tempering,as well as temper temperature have influenced on the toughness of low temperature of LF3 forge steel and LC3 cast steel. Provide better methods for improving stability of the toughness of low temperature of the two kinds of steel.
