The General and Visual Calculating Program of Fuse Prearcing Characteristic

限流熔断器的主要特性———安秒特性由弧前过程决定。本文利用“电流势”的概念 ,推导出了弧前数学模型 ,完成了相应通用计算程序 ,程序可计算得到熔断器的完整弧前特性———弧前焦耳积分、熔化时间、熔化电流等 ,并充分利用Windows操作系统下的图形界面 ,输入参数方便 ,使用简单 ,能动态显示熔体中“电流势”场与温度场分布图形 ,计算结果与实验结果对比表明程序对熔断器的设计有一定指导意义。

Current limiting fuse is used as a current limiting device in power line,its main characteristic—? 獻 2t characteristic is determined by prearcing process. Based on “current potential” concept and prearcing mathematical model, this paper gives out a program that can calculate fuse's full prearcing characteristics—? 獻 2t characteristic, prearcing time, letthrough current, fuse element resistor and so on. It runs under Windows operating system, has visual HMI, can give out the picture of “current potential” and 3D temperature of fuse element. The experimental results verified the calculated results, the program can be used as a tool to design fuse.
