介绍了将某稀土化合物作为添加剂加在阀控密封铅酸蓄电池的正极活性物质中或电解液中，经过对容量、自放电、过放电、氧气析出等检验，未发现该化合物对电池有有害作用；试验表明，在6V/4.5Ah摩托车电池和12V/10Ah电动自行车电池中加入稀土化合物添加剂的，其深充放循环寿命在不同程度上有所提高。

A rare earth compound as additive is added to electrolyte or active positive pole substance of sealed valve-controlled lead-acid battery.Battery capacity，self-discharge，oxygen-evolution have been inspected.The results showed that it is not harmful to battery.And the experiment indicated that using rare earth compound as additive in 6V/4.5Ah motor-car batteries and in 12V/10Ah electrical bicycle batteries can improve deep charge-discharge cycle life to some extent.
