摘要
本文用时域有限差分(FDTD)法计算并模拟电磁(光)波在各向异性媒质中的传播。为了验证方法的有效性,以负单轴晶体为例进行了大量的数值计算,从所得结果看,双折射和极化分束现象清晰且与解析图解法的结果相吻合。此法确可推广应用于普遍的各向异性媒质中电磁波的传播问题。
In this paper, Finite-Difference-Time-Domain method is used to calculate and simulate the propagation of EM wave in anisotropic medium. As a demonstration, numerical results for the case of negative uniaxial crystal are presented. From these results, the birefringence and polarization splitting effects are clearly shown and well agree with the analyticgraphic ones. It has been shown that the method can be used in analyzing the general propagation problem of EM wave in anisotropic medium.
