Current Economic Reform of Japan: Background and Prospect

依靠改革旗号于今年4月上台的小泉内阁，终于在两个月后推出了内容广泛、力度强大的经济改革计划。这一经济改革计划的推出，有着深刻的经济背景，其中最应予以重视的是不良债权、财政赤字和体制僵化等困扰日本经济的三大难题。小泉的经济政策计划也主要是针对这三方面问题提出的，但在实际推进过程中却面临着多重障碍。而这一经济改革计划的实施也会带来多种消极影响，包括阻碍经济回升、影响需求恢复、恶化失业问题和加重通货紧缩。

Abstract:The Junichiro Koizumi Cabinet which took power April this year relying on the reformbanner has finally introduced an economic reform program which is extensive in content andstrong in force. There is a profound economic background for the intreduction of the program, ofwhich the most important are the three problems: bad creditor's rights, financial deficit, rigidityof system, that have badly troubled the economy of Japan as a whole. Junichiro Koizumi's eco-nomic reform program, though aimed at the soution to these three problems, has met with a va-riety of setbacks in its process of actual implementation. In the meantime, however, the actualimplementation of the prograrn wil1 also bring about many negative effects including the preven-tion of the picking up of economy, checking of the recovery of dernands, further deterioration ofunemployment and inflation, etc.
