View of aesthetic, the ellipsis in ancient Chinese poetry is as wonderful as the Liubai in Chinese Shuimo painting. The ellipsis in grammatical component will not cause the derogation in the in-tegral semantic meaning of poem, on the contrary it can conduce the semantic extension. The ellipsis in ancient Chinese poetry has a distinctive aesthetic value of poetics. It can not only help to form the lingual succinct style in language at the surface layer, but also it can bring the aesthetic feeling of art in implicit and imaginative at the deep-seated of appreciate mentality. The ellipsis can broaden the space of poetic imagination. It is a kind of elements that form the Chinese poetic style.
