This article is mainly about the applications and researches to the technology of WAP. At first, it introduces the characters of WAP and the application model, which is the most important part in this article. After that the structure of WAP protocol system is shown, and compares it with Internet system structure in aspects of WAE?WSP?WTP?WTLS and WDP then it explains that WAP technology is implemented by WHL script language. At last, it discusses some problems in the development of WAP and prospects it's future.
