摘要 比较主题信息门户、搜索引擎和合作编目的区别,论述用ROADS构建主题信息门户的方法,并对在ROADS的基础上进行都柏林核心集度控语言等理论研究和图书馆自动化系统的研究等问题进行探讨。 The subject gateway is a kind of Web - based information service different from the search engine and cooperative catalogue. This paper gives a detailed view of the implementation of the subject gateway with YAHOO- like software ROADS, analyzes the application of Dublin Core and controlled vocabularies on this platform, and points out the developing tendency of library automation software.
