The dialog control box(DCB) is realized by ASCII files which are written by dialog control language in AutoCAD.The driving programmes may be written by AutoLISP or ADS.The experimental example of standard gear design shows that the new direct DCB may greatly simplity user's operation with computer and enhance the software's proficiency.
