摘要
After China joins the WTO, the textile and garment industry will face changed trading environment. There will be both advantages and disadvantages for the industry. But China’s entry to the WTO will definitely bring new opportunities for the future development of the textile and garment industry. For textile and garment enterprises, it is vital for them to be prepared to seize this good chance, take advantages while avoid disadvantages. Based on getting better understanding of the WTO rules, leading bodies at each level should timely carry out research and work out corresponding plan. Textile associations, as non-government organizations, should take proper measures to provide necessary Protection to its members.
