武王克商之年是解决夏、商、周年代的关键 ,两千多年来 ,古今中外的学者对此作了深入的探索 ,得出了 44种不同的结论 ,极形纠葛。国家“九五”重点科技攻关项目“夏、商、周断代工程”启动后 ,武王克商之年的研究 ,再度引起国内外学术界的关注。本文将诸家的研究 ,依其引据的史料以及研究途径的不同分为六类 ,分别作了分析 ,并论述了武王克商之年研究久讼不决的原因。

The year of King Wu's conquest over Shang is the key to the Xia Shang Zhou Chronology Project. Over two thousand years, scholars at all times and from all over the world have made in depth explorations into this issue, and come to 44 different conclusions, which form a fierce dispute over this issue. With the start of the Xia Shang Zhou Chronology Project, one of the country's key projects of science and technology in its ninth “five year” plan, the research on the year of King Wu's conquest over Shang has once again attracted the attention of scholars from home and abroad. According to the historical data they have cited and the different approaches they have employed in research, this article has classified various research results into six categories, and carried out comprehensive analysis to each category. Furthermore, the article has also made tentative explanation on why the year of King Wu's conquest over Shang has remained disputable and unresolved.
