The Accelerating Function of Revolutions in Weapons on the Formation of New Human Societies

从人类发展史来看 ,遵循着这样一个规律 :每当兵器发生一次重大革命 ,就预示着一个新的社会形态到来。青铜兵器的出现为漫长的原始社会划上了句号 ;钢铁兵器则把人类带进了封建社会 ;火炮轰塌了封建城堡 ,打开了资本主义大门。兵器革命之所以成为社会变革的必由之路 ,说到底 ,它反映的是生产力的革命。作为先进生产力代表的阶级 ,在现代高科技兵器革命时代 ,应自觉地争取主动 。

Accordimg to human history of social development , it follows such a regular pattern : whenever there was a revolution in weapons, there came a new form of society. Bronze weapons ended primitive society ; iron and steel weapons ushered in feudal society ; and the cannon brought down the feudal castle and opened the door to capitalism .In the final analysis , the reason why revolutions in weapons led to social revolution is that it reflected the revolution in the productive force . The class that represents the advanced productive force , should try its best to gain the initiative and occupy a dominant position in the present era of revolution in highly scientific and technological weapons.
