中国特色社会主义是中国近现代社会特殊历史发展的必然产物，是历史发展一般规律及其特殊性的统一，与马克思关于理想形态社会主义的设想既相区别又有联系，是中国社会发展的自然历史过程和人民的正确选择。

Socialism with Chinese characteristics is the necessary result of the special historical development in modern China, and the unification of general historical development rules and specific ones. It is related to but meanwhile different from the idealistic form of socialism proposed by Marx. And it is a natural process of Chinese social development and a correct choice of the Chinese people.
