摘要
传统美学观认为,审美现象只是艺术范畴内发生的特殊精神活动,人类的非精神活动领域并不存在审美,因而审美是不带有任何功利目的的。但从社会生活的发展变化看,人类所从事的一切活动都是一个创造的过程,它虽不同于纯艺术的精神创造,但同样具有审美性,这是由于艺术的精神性创造和非艺术的创造都根源于人们在社会生活中产生的社会心理,是在社会心理的中介性影响下进行的审美活动。因此,审美既属于艺术文明世界,也属于非艺术的物质文明世界,是精神和物质的复合性活动,同时又都负有特定的社会责任和义务,也即具有一定的功利目的。
The traditional aesthetic concept holds that phe nomena of aesthetic appreciation is a special spiritual activity which occurs only within the catego ry of art,and in the field of humans nonspiritual activities there does not ex ist such a thing as appreciation of the beautiful,thus aesthetic appreciation ca rrying with it no aims at material gains.But in view of developments and changes in social life,all the activities man is engaged in are in fact a process of cr eation,though different from the spiritual creation of pure art,it likewise has the character of aesthetic appreciation,this is because both the spiritual creat ion of art and unartistic creation originate in sociopsychology rising in people s social life,these two kinds of creations being activities of aesthetic appre ciation carried out under the influence of sociopsychology as a medium in natur e.Appreciation of the beautiful,therefore,belongs both to the civilized world of art and civilized material world,it is an activity compounded of spirit and material and at the same time bears the specific social responsibility and oblig ation,that is,it has a certain aim at material gains.
