Discussion on China′s Entry into the WTO

关贸总协定和世贸组织的宗旨、职能和组织机构的概况 ,以及其成员国所必须遵守的基本原则 ;中国同关贸总协定和世贸组织的曲折关系 ,以及我国“复关”、“入世”的原则立场 ;“复关”、“入世”给我国经济发展带来的机遇和挑战 。

This paper, with a view to clarifying the problem of China′s entry into the WTO, briefs the purpose, functions, organizations of the WTO and the basic rules its members must obey. It looks back to the complicated relations between China and the WTO(formerly GATT) and states the principled position of China′s entry into the WTO. This paper analyses in particular the chances and challenges presented by China′s entry into the WTO and the corresponding countermeasures to be taken.
