元朝对色目商人的管理

Control Over the Semu Merchants by The Yuan Dynasty:

色目商人和元朝统治者在根本利益上是一致的。元朝统治者为了稳固自己的统治地位 ,对色目商人实施一些管束和惩罚措施 ,虽然是必要的 ,但因触犯其中部分商人的利益 ,同时也会危及元朝统治集团本身 ,所以元朝政府的这些措施最终未能奏效 ,色目商人也始终活跃在元代政治舞台上。

In order to consolidate their rule,the Yuan rulers adopted some measures of control and punishment over the Semu merchants.Though this was necessary,it violated the interests of a part of the merchants and endangered the ruling clique as well.As a result,These measures of the Yuan government never produced any effect and the Semu merchants were active on the political stage throughout the Yuan dynasty.
