Universities need more flexible management in the new century

随着知识经济的到来 ,对高级专门人才的需求日益加剧 ,这给高等学校提出了更高的要求。怎样才能培养出适合 2 1世纪社会需要的人才 ,充分发挥高校的资源优势 ,调动广大知识分子的积极性 ?提高高校的管理效能就成为重中之重。要提高广大高校知识分子的积极性 ,仅靠行政命令等刚性管理手段远远不够 ,还必须重视人本主义的柔性管理手段。本文针对新时期高校知识分子的心理和工作特点 ,提出对高校知识分子的管理应内在重于外在、直接重于间接、心理重于物理等一系列柔性管理手段 ,旨在探索新时期高等学校管理的新途径。

With the advent of intellectual economy, there is an increasing demand for senior special personnel.To attain the objective, we should not only rely on rigid approach but also on humane flexible management. The aim of this essay is to explore new ways of university management in the new era. In this essay we come up with the new approach which places an emphasis more on internal, direct and psychological than external, indirect and physical management of universities.
