我国在传统上非常重视诚信，在古代的商业道德中诚信也占据着主导地位。但在经济转轨过程中，由于历史、现实等各种因素的影响，社会信用却严重缺失，对我国的社会经济造成了严重危害。提高社会的诚信水平已是我国的当务之急，要做到这一点，需要从道德和制度两个层面来着手进行。

In China, great importance has been attached to honesty , which also constituted a major part of ancient Chinese business morals. But in the period of economic transition, due to the influence of various factors including history and reality, honesty has been trifled with. This has seriously hurt the society and economy. The promotion of honesty level in our society has become pressing issue of the moment. In order to promote the level of honesty, we ought to start by improving morality and credit system.
