For the high tech corporation, core competence is the important invisible resources, the source of long term competitive superiority and the base of diversification. This paper expounds the strategic significance of high tech corporation core competence, analyses the reasons why the core competence becomes weak and is lost and puts forward several measures to protect high tech corporation core competence.
