摘要 对理工类院校师生的特点进行分析 ,指出目前大学英语词汇教学中存在的问题。还探讨了因教师对词汇教学系统知识的缺乏而对学生词汇习得产生的影响。最后提出了一些能有效激发学生词汇学习的方法 。 Through examining the various characteristics of universities of science and technology, especially from the viewpoint of students and teachers, the paper points out the existing problems of college English lexical acquisition. The effect of teachers' lack of systematic knowledge of lexical teaching is also studied. Finally the author suggests several ways of inspiring students' interest so as to build an adequate English vocabulary and discusses the implication of these techniques.
