Great attention has been paid to the carbon dioxide-induced climatic change in recent years. A comprehensive review on the global warming and its influences on the land ecosystems of the earth has been made in this paper. In particular, the regional scenarios of the climatic change caused by the green-house gas and their implication for agricultures in different parts of the world have been discussed in detail.
