注释性书目和提要性书目、题录性书目一起构成古典书目的三大类型 ,但是目录学界一直缺乏对于注释性书目的认知和界定 ,造成了诸多误解。注释性书目源远流长 ,有效地揭示了文献信息 ,检索更为便捷 ,使书目更加工具书化 ;作为一种书目编纂传统 ,注释性书目在今天仍有强大的生命力。

Although Classical bibliographies consists of annotated bibliographies,abstract bibliographies and title bibliographies,annotated bliographies' study is lacking among the bliographers,which causes much misunderstanding.Annotated bibliographies have a distant origin and a long development reveal the information of document efficiently, make it convenient to search and make bibliographies appear to much more like reference book.As an traditional method of compiling bibliographies,annotated bibliographies still have strong vitality today.The article revolves around the origin and the development of annotated bibliographies and evaluates the theoretical cognition about annotated bibliographies of ancient China.
