An equation for calculating the cracking torque of r ei nforced concrete members subjected to combined torsion is derived.The effects of moment,compression and shear on cracking torque are analyzed.By the analysis of the tests of 8 reinforced concrete members subjected to biaxial eccentric compr ession,shear and reversed torque,a practical equation for predicting the crackin g torque is presented.The theoretical results agree well with the experimental o nes of 27 members.
