摘要 The title compound, named SBI β CD briefly, was synthesized for the first time and measured with UV and circular dichroism(CD) for its photochromism and complexation with (-) borneol. The results indicated that SBI β CD was photoregulatable to the guest binding and could be used to act as a photoswitchable host compound.
