Corporate Growth and Core Competence

核心能力是企业可持续竞争优势的源泉 ,也是企业可持续发展的恒久动力。企业核心能力类型 (硬核心能力和软核心能力 )的不同 ,决定了企业成长路径的选择不同 ;并且由于不同类型的核心能力发挥作用的机制及效果不同 ,决定了一个企业的理性成长方式应该是专业化———相关多元化———非相关多元化。采用这种成长方式能有效地规避风险 。

Core competence is the source of sustainable competitive advantage, and the persistent power of the sustainable growth. The difference of core competence decides the different choice of the way of corporate growth. Then the rational choice of corporate growth is proposed, i.e. from specialization, related diversification, to conglomerate diversification, which can effectively avoid the risk and get healthy growth.
