摘要
本文报道了动量在360GeV/c时PP相互作用中拓扑截面和多重数的测定和分析。我们直接测量了西欧中心提供的欧洲谱仪快循环泡室的4000张照片,获得2247个事例。从分析数据得到各多重数下的拓扑截面值和平均多重数〈n〉=8.94±0.21。所得多重数的分布符合KNO标度无关性的特点。
We present our results of a measurement and analysis of topological cross sections and multiplicities in pp interactions at 360 GeV/c.We have scanned 4000 pictures in three views taken with Rapid Cycling Bubble Chamber with EHS at CERN and gained 2247 events. The topological cross sections for different multiplicities are obtained.The mean charged particle multiplticity is 8.94±0.21. The multiplicity distribution is consistent with KNO scaling behavior.
