This paper discusses the maintaining method and programming technique in software malfunction of MBR and DBR. It mainly approaches the problem of the variable table of BPB and the calculating method relevant to variables of hard disk partition table. It also introduces the structure and its restoring algorithm of 32-bit FAT, and makes a further inquiry into the restoring technique of non-physics destruction and fatal malfunction on disk.
