本文主要介绍了自动交换光网络 (ASTN)的结构、路由设置、信令构件和路由选择。目前国际上对于ASTN的主要标准有IETF标准、ITU -T标准、ODSI标准和OIF标准 ,ITU-T建议的主要优点在于网络结构特性 ,而IETF的优点在于路由信令部分 ,如果将二者的优势结合起来 ,将会大大加快自动光交换网络标准的建立速度。北电网络的光服务网络 (OSN)

This paper mainly presents the system architecture, routing setup, signaling components and routing of the automated switched transport network(ASTN). The current international ASTN standards are primarily those developed by IETF, ITU-T, ODSI and OIF. The major advantage of ITU-T recommendations lies in the network structural characteristics, whereas the merit of IETF standards resides in the routing and signaling part. The marriage of the two standards will greatly expedite the establishment of the automatic optical switching network standard. The Preside software-based optical service network of Nortel Networks provides a great variety of value added capabilities for service providers.
