《圣经》是基督教的经典 ,也是人类文化史上最重要的著作之一 ,它卷帙浩繁 ,内容广博 ,其中也较多地记写关于妇女命途多舛的问题。《圣经》中的妇女或为从属 ,或为商品 ,或为生育工具 ,没有自己独立的地位。深思和探究这一问题 ,是因为今天妇女不只是求生存 ,求平等 ,求发展也是当代全球妇女要解之题。

The Holy Bible-the Christian scripture, is a vast literature of extensive contents. It is one of the most valuable works in the cultural history of human kind. Women in the Holy Bible are treated as commodities, reproduction tools. Women are in subordinate position without independent status. The reason of exploring and studying women issues is that today women are not only seeking survival, equality, but also trying to solve the problem of development which is of key importance to women of the whole world.
