The cast iron piston rings in the second section of 3D22(Ⅱ)type compressors were changed into the packed MC nylon piston rings in a retrorit,the structure calculation of the packed MC nylon piston rings and their retrofit result were presented.The cast iron piston rings in the first section and the third section were also retrofitted based on the experience above mentioned.
