Chinese historians in the 20th Century encumbered themselves with traditional culture on one hand and tried to go with the new tide of transformation of the new era on the other. In the process of readjusting themselves, they involuntarily formed some complexes that they could not break away from. The three most important ones are political, moral and foreign complexes. These complexes have exerted great impact on Chinese historical studies in the 20th Century.
